Initial Content & design meeting
Before I begin writing and designing, I offer an initial meeting so that we can get to know each other. Good content starts with understanding your business, you message, and your ideal client. After our initial meeting, I develop a plan to communicate what makes your business unique and keeps your clients coming back for more. Once I've developed our plan going forward, I will present you with a quote - detailing the scope of work and timeline for your project.
Once you've accepted my quote, I will spend time researching your product or serve in the marketplace including your closest competition. This will help us partner together when it comes to keywords, content and design that will grow your business. At the end of research, I will send you a proposal for content.
Once complete, I will send you my proposal for content. This will include space for you to review and request revisions.

My career aspirations weren't always focused on writing. I started my work life in the international transportation industry. Within a few years, I became an expert and my writing career had it's early beginnings in writing training manuals to help others learn what I knew. In my 30's, I transitioned into church ministry and began writing curriculum, blog posts, promotional materials and more to help our church members learn about their faith.
Once I began to write, I could not stop. I loved to touch people with the written word and my skill to craft words that made a difference. I started my own blog called One Foot in the Water in 2007 and haven't looked back. My last transition was to start my own business as a life coach and a copywriter. Because of my experience as a small business owner, I know what it takes to create content that helps reach customers and I am equipped to help you communicate your message, engage your future clients, and develop an online marketing strategy that works.
I hold a B.A. in International Studies and an M.A. in Theological Studies. More importantly, I have been trained in the business of copywriting through one of AWAI's (American Writers and Artists Inc) programs and the Content Marketing Strategy course through Digital Marketer. I have been writing to impact my readers for years.
